Peesa Choomsawasdi

Peesa Choomsawasdi has a diverse work experience, starting in 2004 as the Innovation projects and commercialization Section head at Union Footwear Public Co., Ltd. Peesa then worked as a Process Engineer at Western Digital Co., Ltd from 2006 to 2007. Following this, they joined Unilever Thai Services and held roles as a Process Development Support Manager from 2008 to 2012, and as a Process design support manager from 2012 to 2012. Peesa then worked at Big C Supercenter as a Senior manager - Operational Excellence in 2012 and later joined Central Retail Corporation Ltd. as the General manager - Business Strategy and Performance, where they were responsible for various financial and business analysis tasks from 2013 to 2014. Peesa then served as the Country Manager at Trinity Asia Group from 2014 to 2015. Peesa subsequently worked at Central Marketing Group (CMG) as the Head of Corporate Strategy from 2015 to 2017, and as the Head of Brand Strategy and Operational Excellence for the Licensed & Own Brands group from 2017 to 2017. After that, they held roles at ttb bank, first as the SVP - Retail Process - CX management, Retail Transformation and PMO Retail Integration from 2017 to 2020, and then as the SVP - Enterprise Data Officer (EDO) from 2020 to 2021. Peesa then joined ICBC (Thai) as the Chief Data Officer and Data Protection Officer (Data Governance and Protection Office) from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Peesa is the Head of Data Governance and SCBx Group COE at DataX starting in September 2022.

Peesa Choomsawasdi holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from Kasetsart University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Peesa further pursued their education at the University of Glasgow and completed a Master of Science degree in Management (International Business) from 2007 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Peesa has obtained several certifications in various fields, including Data Protection, Data Analytics, Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM), Data Science, Data Stewardship, Data Governance, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Strategic Planning & Management in Retailing, Business Acumen, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Coaching For Organizational Performance and Development, and they also hold a License for professional practice – Associate industrial engineer from the Council of engineer (Thailand).
