Steffen Hoffmeister

Steffen Hoffmeister is currently the Head of Entity IT at DB Cargo AG since December 2017. Prior to this position, Steffen worked at Deutsche Bahn AG from March 2008 to July 2022, where he held various IT management roles, including IT Common Services and Team Lead for Verfahrens- und Bürokommunikationsplattform. Before that, he worked as a Product Manager at DB Systel GmbH from November 2002 to February 2008. Steffen also has experience as a Consultant at his own company, Steffen Hoffmeister IT Beratung, where he worked on international projects focusing on startups, New Economy, eCommerce, and marketing. Steffen holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in BWL with a focus on eCommerce, logistics and transportation, and information management from Goethe University Frankfurt.
