Asbjørn Edelmore

Senior Game Designer (Balance) at Decartel

Asbjørn Edelmore has extensive experience in the game design industry. Asbjørn started their career as a Game Designer at Spike Chunsoft, Inc., where they worked on the Jump Force project as an intern. Asbjørn gained experience in writing technical specifications, QA testing, and participating in brainstorming sessions.

Asbjørn then joined Two Star Games as a Game Designer, where they worked on the Epic MegaJam 2020 game jam. Their responsibilities included maintaining project documentation, creating and formatting specifications, and UX design.

Afterwards, they moved on to Panoramik Games as a Game Designer in the Live-Ops/Balance role. Asbjørn worked on a top-grossing project in the US before transitioning to a newly released project. During their time there, the project moved up in the grossing ranks.

Asbjørn then worked at Dark Crystal Games as a Game Design Lead, where they were involved in various projects including working on Encased (DLC) and developing a PC MMO project concept. Asbjørn conducted scrums, reviewed tasks, created roadmaps, balanced games, conducted interviews, and collaborated with the marketing and analytics departments.

Asbjørn also worked at Sigma IT as a Producer/GD Lead. Asbjørn was involved in the development of a third-person 3D shooter and a rogue-like game for mobile and PC platforms. Asbjørn also provided assistance to another team in developing a rogue-like game for PC.

Furthermore, Asbjørn worked at Game Wheel Studio as the Lead Game Designer on a pet project called Atrophia: Diseased Lands. Asbjørn gathered a team and worked on the project for four years during their free time.

Currently, Asbjørn is working as a Senior Game Designer (Balance) at Decartel.

Asbjørn Edelmore obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming/Programmer, General from Siberian State Aerospace University. Asbjørn pursued this degree from 2019 to 2023.
