Juan Ramón Portero Martínez

Juan Ramón Portero Martínez has a diverse work experience background. Starting as an intern at UPCT in the Materials Engineering and Manufacturing Department in 2009, they progressed to various roles within different organizations. Their roles included being an Intern and a Mechanical Engineer at the Motorsport Team of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, a Training Operations Technician at Enagás, and an Energy Efficiency Technician at IDAE. Juan Ramón also worked at GE Healthcare as a Digital Business Development Specialist & Project Manager, where they focused on stakeholders follow-up and identifying sales opportunities. Recently, they held the position of a Program Manager at IDAE, promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy programs to various audiences. Currently, Juan serves as the Head of Projects & Customer Success, Spain at Deepki, supporting companies in their environmental transition of Real Estate portfolios through data empowerment and boosting energy efficiency initiatives.

Juan Ramón Portero Martínez pursued their education at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering in 2012. Subsequently, they completed an Official Master in Renewable Energies at the same university in 2013. In 2014, they pursued a Postgraduate CITIUS Business Program at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. In 2020, they obtained a Postgraduate Lean Six Sigma YB Professional Certification from the Technical University of Munich. Additionally, they hold certifications in Data Analytics for Lean Six Sigma and participated in the Formula Student 2012 Competition. Juan Ramón also obtained a TOEIC certification in October 2014.
