Coss Marte

Coss Marte is a board member at Defy Ventures. Coss was previously an entrepreneur in training at Defy Ventures, and before that, they worked as a resume writer at Goodwill Industries International. Coss has also raised seed funding by developing and executing a business plan and presenting the results through a competitive tournament-style business plan competition judged by Fortune 500 executives, entrepreneurs, and investors. Coss was awarded pro-bono business services from leading professionals for performance in team and individual sales competitions. Coss has also developed a financial model for CossAthletics incorporating market analysis and a detailed operating budget.

Coss Marte started their educational career by attending Marist College for 28 credits in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Coss then transferred to Borough of Manhattan Community College to complete their degree in the same field. Coss Marte also attended Nativity MIssion Center for their education. Coss has a certification from ISSA Certified Personal Trainer.
