Abiola Ibrahim

Abiola Ibrahim has an extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Abiola is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Deimos, starting from April 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at GraphCMS from June 2020 to April 2021. Abiola also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Teamwork.com from December 2017 to May 2020. Abiola gained experience as a Software Engineer, Developer Tools at Reconfigure.io from January 2017 to November 2017. Abiola served as a Lead Software Engineer at Andela from August 2016 to April 2017. Before that, they worked at Konga Online Shopping Ltd as a Software Engineer from February 2014 to August 2016. Abiola started their career at Opacus Technologies as a Tech Lead and Co-Founder from October 2011 to October 2013. Abiola also had a role as a Software Engineering Intern at Websoft Nigeria Limited from June 2010 to December 2010.

Abiola Ibrahim obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Abiola has also obtained several certifications. These include certifications in Ethereum: Building Blockchain Decentralized Apps (DApps) from LinkedIn in June 2020, MongoDB for NodeJS Developers from MongoDB, Inc. in December 2014, and participation in IEEE Xtreme 5.0, where their team was recognized as the best-placed Nigerian team in October 2011. Abiola also received training as a Map Maker from Google in October 2011 and participated in the MITI AITI Nigeria Mobile Technologies Incubation program offered by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in August 2011. They participated in IEEE Xtreme 4.0, where their team was again recognized as the best-placed Nigerian team in October 2010. Furthermore, Abiola received the Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Oracle in January 2010 and a Certificate in Software Engineering (Java) from HiiT Plc in August 2009.
