Matthew Livermore

Matthew Livermore has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Matthew recently joined Delphix in 2022 as a Senior Manager for Solutions Engineering in the EMEA region. Prior to that, they worked at PagerDuty from 2017 to 2022, where they held the positions of Principal Solutions Consultant and Senior Solutions Consultant, both focused on the EMEA market. From 2011 to 2017, Livermore worked at Dell EMC, serving in various roles including Global Architect for SE in Global Accounts and Advisory Systems Engineer for Enterprise Accounts. Matthew started their career at Tectrade Computers Ltd in 2007, where they worked as a Storage Strategy Consultant and Storage Consultant, specializing in large data storage and backup solutions. Before that, they had roles at the University of East Anglia and University College London as a Systems Specialist, Systems Developer, and Senior Research Associate. Overall, Livermore has a strong background in solutions engineering, storage strategy, and research in the technology sector.

Matthew Livermore has a diverse education history. Matthew obtained a PhD in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed an MSc in Meteorology & Climatology at the University of Birmingham, achieving a distinction. This degree was earned from 1995 to 1996. In their undergraduate studies, Matthew earned a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Birmingham, graduating with a second-class honors degree in 1995. Before their university education, they attended Gaynes Secondary School in Upminster from 1985 to 1992.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Matthew has acquired several certifications. Matthew obtained the Delphix Virtualization Services - Data Virtualization Specialist certification from Delphix in November 2022. Matthew also holds the Authorized Delphix Sales Representative certification, obtained in October 2022, and the Delphix Pre-Sales Engineering - Pre-Sales Engineer certification, obtained in the same month and year. Prior to these certifications, in September 2021, Matthew obtained the PagerDuty Foundational Practitioner Certification from the institution PagerDuty. Furthermore, they earned the PagerDuty API Certification in August 2021 and the PagerDuty Foundational Practitioner certification in July 2020.
