Julio Burdeos Palau

Julio Burdeos Palau has a diverse work experience in the food industry. Julio started their career in 1998 at Sos Arana Alimentación, S.A. where they worked in the procurement department until 2001. From 2001 to 2004, they worked at Sos Cuetara, S.A. as the Responsible for General Services Purchasing and later in the Logistics Department.

In 2004, Julio joined Arroz SOS de México, S.A. de C.V. as the Responsible for Operations. Julio then moved on to Sos Cuétara, S.A. in 2005, where they served as the Chief of Operations in the Carbonell Oils factory.

In 2008, Julio joined Sos Corporación Alimentaria, S.A. as the Logistics Manager, responsible for the logistics and distribution operations of Deoleo in Spain. Julio successfully implemented the outsourcing process for the warehouses and transportation.

Julio's most recent position was at Deoleo S.A., where they worked as the Contract Manufacturing Manager, overseeing the sub-contracted packaging and purchase of finished products for Deoleo's main brands. Their responsibilities included finding local and international opportunities, designing logistics operations, auditing processes, negotiating contracts, and monitoring KPIs.

Throughout their career, Julio has showcased their expertise in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, and operations.

Julio Burdeos Palau completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Valencia from 1992 to 1998. Julio then pursued further education, earning a Master's degree in Logistics and Distribution Management from ESIC Business & Marketing School in 2010-2011. Later, in 2015-2016, Julio obtained a Master's degree in Purchasing and International Trade from ICIL. Their studies focused on areas such as supply chain management, materials management, procurement, and contract management.
