Jae B. Kim

Jae B. Kim has a wealth of experience in the medical field. Jae B. began their career in 1994 as a Markey Fellow in the Training Program in Molecular Medicine at Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Jae B. then went on to complete an Internal Medicine Residency Program at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 1997. From 2000 to 2003, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School and a Thomas W. Smith Named Clinical Fellow in Cardiovascular Medicine at the Cardiovascular Division of Brigham and Women's Hospital. In 2008, they became a Faculty of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a Global Development Leader in Clinical Development at Amgen. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Executive Director of Clinical Research at MyoKardia, and from 2016 to 2020 they were the Vice President of Clinical Development at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. Jae B. currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Avidity Biosciences, Inc. and Design Therapeutics.

Jae B. Kim graduated from Cornell University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Neurobiology. In 1997, they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
