Carnell Brame, Jr., AICP has a diverse and extensive work experience in planning and project management. Carnell currently holds the position of Senior Planner/Project Manager at Desire Line LLC since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Halff Associates as a Senior Planner/Project Manager from 2021 to 2023.

Carnell also has experience working for the City of Dallas as an Area Planning Manager from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they managed planning efforts and interdepartmental coordination, facilitated partnerships, and oversaw planning initiatives, private development, and infrastructure projects. Carnell also worked as a Senior Planner at the City of Dallas from 2017 to 2019.

Before joining the City of Dallas, Carnell worked at Jefferson Parish Government as a Planner II from 2013 to 2017. Carnell was primarily responsible for drafting zoning and text amendments to the Parish's Unified Development Code. Carnell also played a key role in the overhaul of the code.

Carnell gained early experience in the planning field as a Community Development Agency Intern at Cobb County from 2011 to 2012. Carnell contributed to the planning process for the Vinings Vision Plan, undertaking tasks such as data analysis and report creation.

Additionally, they have held positions at Staffmark as a Staffing Analyst, THD, Noble Investment Group as a Starbucks Barista at Raleigh Marriott City Center, and East Carolina University as a Campus Living - Resident Advisor. Carnell has demonstrated their ability to work in different sectors and capacities throughout their career.

Carnell Brame, Jr., AICP has a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning, which they obtained from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning at East Carolina University from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their academic achievements, Carnell Brame, Jr., has obtained certifications as an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM in June 2020 and as an AICP Certified planner from the American Institute of Certified Planners in June 2019.
