Pekka Patja

Pekka Patja has extensive work experience in various roles related to operations and supply chain management. Pekka currently serves as the Director of China Operations at Detection Technology, overseeing a manufacturing operations business and managing the overall functions of two factory sites. Prior to this, they worked at Innokas Medical as the COO, responsible for the profitability of the manufacturing operations business and directing a team of over 100 people. Pekka also held the role of Director of Supply Chain Management at Innokas Medical, where they were responsible for overall supply chain operations.

Before joining Innokas Medical, Pekka worked at Bittium USA Inc. as the Head of Operations Support, leading a team that supported the company's R&D programs and managing the order-delivery process for customers. Pekka also served as the Director of Operations and Logistics at Bittium, where they had end-to-end responsibility for sourcing, logistics, and outsourced manufacturing operations.

Pekka's previous experience includes serving as the Vice President of Operations and Supply Center at Efore (Suzhou) Electronics, managing a center with 390 employees and developing processes to support sales growth. Pekka also worked at Meconet Oy as the Production Director, where they improved the production process and organization across multiple production units. In addition, they held the role of Operations Project Manager at Nokia Networks Oy and Manufacturing Manager at VTI Technologies Oy, where they gained experience in project management and assembly department management respectively.

Pekka Patja completed their high school education at Etelä-Tapiola High School from 1983 to 1986, earning a high school diploma. Pekka then pursued higher education at LUT University from 1986 to 1993, where they obtained a Master of Science (Engineering) degree in Production Technologies.
