Michael Rhoads

Michael Rhoads has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Michael currently works at The Detroit Institute for Children as the Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this, they held positions such as Vice President of Programs and Special Needs Services and Director of Special Needs Services at the same organization. Before joining The Detroit Institute for Children, they worked as a Sales Manager in the Midwest Region at Magnegas. Michael also has experience as an Independent Consultant at Rhoads Sales, as well as in sales and account management roles at LNA Solutions, Rhoads Sales LLC, Hilti USA, Johnson Rubber Company, Michigan Rubber Products, BTR Sealing Systems, and GenCorp. Throughout their career, Michael has been involved in sales, account management, business development, and operational management.

Michael Rhoads graduated from the University of La Verne with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior in 1992. Michael then pursued further education at Claremont Graduate University, where they obtained an MBA in Management between 1992 and 1994.
