Sarmad Alsarraj

Sarmad ALSARRAJ has a diverse work experience in various organizations related to the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Sarmad began their career in 1994 at Arradhi Data Systems as a Support Services member, where they worked until 2003. From 2004 to 2005, they served at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies as an IT and OD Manager, and later as an Assistant Desk Officer in the MENA Department.

Sarmad continued their work in the field of information technology and telecommunications at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies from 2005 to 2011, holding the positions of IT/Telecom Delegate and IT/Telecom Coordinator. During this time, they were involved in coordinating information systems activities for disaster response operations and establishing new office setups in emergencies.

In 2011, Sarmad ALSARRAJ worked as an ICT Consultant at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Sarmad then joined IFRC as a Senior Information Services Advisory Officer and later as a Project Manager in the Digital Divide Initiative from 2012 to 2014.
