Andy McBride

Andy McBride has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Andy has held various roles in finance and data analytics, working for global companies across different industries. Andy's most recent position was as the Head of Commercial Finance - Group Trading Analytics & Strategy Projects at DFI Retail Group. Prior to that, they served as the IFRS17 Project Finance Manager at Prudential Corporation Asia. Andy also worked as the Data Analytics Solutions Manager at Velocity Business Solutions Limited, where they managed the planning and implementation of data analytics software solutions for clients in banking, insurance, retail, logistics, and sourcing. Before that, they worked at Telstra, where they led the finance business partnering team and implemented new planning tools and finance programs to streamline budgeting and reporting processes. Andy also served as the Commercial Financial Controller at Hong Kong CSL Limited, where they collaborated with IT and Technology teams on major projects. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Group Financial Controller at AMS Group and Snr Manager EMEA Carrier Finance at Global Crossing. Andy's work experience also includes positions such as Financial Controller at SBM The Sportsman, Retail Finance Manager at French Connection UK Ltd, and Assistant IPP Accountant at Scottish and Southern Energy.

Andy McBride earned a BA (Hons) and an MSc in Accountancy and Logistics from Glasgow Caledonian University between 1993 and 1998. In April 2003, they also obtained the certification of Associate of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA) from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
