Janaki Viswanathan

Janaki Viswanathan is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in data science and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a researcher at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since June 2020, Janaki specializes in human activity recognition using wearable sensors and has developed deep learning models for ergonomic risk assessment and knee angle recommendations. Prior roles include senior data analyst at Customer Analytics, LLC, where Janaki conducted Twitter sentiment analysis and market mix modeling, and data analyst & training coordinator at Gyan Data Pvt Ltd, where Janaki facilitated data analytics education for automobile industry professionals. Janaki holds a Master's degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from Universität des Saarlandes and a Master's degree in Mathematics from Ethiraj College For Women, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Madras Christian College.
