Helle Hegelund

Helle Hegelund is an experienced leader in the environmental and engineering sectors, currently serving as a board member of Foreningen af Rådgivende Ingeniører since March 2024 and as the Director/CEO of DGE Danmark since November 2022. Helle holds the position of Chair of the Board for Nationalpark Mols Bjerge and previously owned Hegelund Advice, providing expertise in sustainable energy projects. Contributions have been made to various organizations, including as a board member for Ingeniørforeningen, IDA Miljø, and as Chair for DAZA. Helle was the CEO of Kattegatcentret, successfully leading a turnaround strategy, and has extensive experience in technical leadership roles, including as Technical Chief for Skanderborg Municipality. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Business Development and a Cand. Scient. in Biology from Aarhus University.
