Maxime Bélanger

Maxime Bélanger has extensive work experience in various roles related to software development and engineering. Maxime is currently working as the Director of Platform Engineering at Dialogue since February 2023. Before that, they held the position of Senior Staff DevOps Engineer and Team Lead at Dialogue starting from February 2022. Prior to their role as Senior Staff DevOps Engineer, Maxime was employed as a Staff DevOps Engineer and Team Lead at Dialogue from January 2019 to February 2022.

Earlier in their career, Maxime worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Dialogue for a brief period from October 2018 to December 2018. Before joining Dialogue, they were a DevOps Engineer at Shutterstock from September 2017 to October 2018.

Between 2015 and 2017, Maxime worked at iWeb in different roles, starting as a Senior Developer from February 2015 to November 2015, and then progressing to the position of Lead Developer from November 2015 to August 2017.

Prior to their tenure at iWeb, Maxime had a significant work experience at CAE, starting as a University Student (Coop) from January 2007 to September 2009. Maxime then worked as a System Software Specialist and Scrum Master from September 2009 to October 2010, and later as a Software Specialist and Scrum Master from October 2010 to September 2011. Maxime was then promoted to the role of Software Architect - Military Engineering from September 2011 to June 2013. Finally, they served as a Software Architect - Global Development Engineering from June 2013 to February 2015 at CAE, where they contributed significantly to the standardization of software architecture and the implementation of automated testing practices.

Prior to their professional career, Maxime worked as a Computer Technician at Institut Maritime du Québec for a brief period from June 2005 to August 2005.

Maxime Bélanger completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Information Technology & Software from École de technologie supérieure from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they pursued Computer Science at Cégep de Rimouski from 2002 to 2005. Maxime Bélanger also holds certifications such as the Linkerd Hero Nominee from The Linux Foundation in 2020 and a Continuous Improvement - Green Belt certification.
