David Roland

David Roland has a comprehensive work experience in the legal field. David began their career as a Briefing Attorney at the Supreme Court of Texas. David then worked as an Attorney at Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP, focusing on corporate and securities law. David's next role was as an Attorney at Caltex Corporation, where they gained experience in petroleum refining and marketing. David then joined Enron as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, providing legal support for various business transactions. In 2004, David became Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at ION Geophysical Corporation, a global provider of geophysical technology. David was responsible for managing the company's legal, compliance, governance, and patent portfolios. Currently, David serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary at Diamond Offshore, overseeing all legal, compliance, and governance matters for the company.

David Roland earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of Houston between 1979 and 1983. David then went on to attend St. Mary's University School of Law from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with distinction.
