Pieter Potgieter

Pieter Potgieter has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Pieter started their career at PereSys as an Executive, where they were responsible for designing and implementing key subsystems of the Funds Management Software product.

Pieter then joined Microsoft, where they worked as a Solution Specialist, selling Microsoft server products and providing leadership on enterprise integration and business process management. Pieter later became a Solutions Architect at Microsoft Consulting Services, specializing in Services Oriented Architecture and development operations.

After Microsoft, Pieter worked at Eclipse MultiPlay as an Executive for Solutions Sales. Pieter led sales and consulting efforts for the startup, focusing on web services management in the telco space and providing expertise in service-oriented architecture and OSS/BSS.

Pieter also served as the Chief Architect for Cordys South Africa, where they vetted customer solution architectures and ensured quality implementations. Pieter acted as a subject matter expert on integration and business process management.

Pieter then moved on to Software AG as a Pre Sales Manager, managing a team of presales consultants and providing technical advice on customer sales opportunities. Pieter was recognized as an expert in enterprise integration and business process management.

Pieter joined SAP as a Senior Product Specialist, supporting SAP ECC and Netweaver deals by providing technical design and implementation expertise. Pieter also lectured on SAP architecture.

At Dimension Data, Pieter held various roles, including Practice Manager for Enterprise Applications and Senior Commercial Manager. In these roles, they provided thought leadership on application GTM initiatives, designed products and GTM strategies, and coordinated multiple business entities across geographies.

Currently, Pieter is serving as the Chief Compliance and Information Security Officer at Britehouse Automotive, a subsidiary of Dimension Data.

Pieter Potgieter attended Hoërskool Nylstroom from 1983 to 1987. In 1990, they briefly studied Biology/Biological Sciences, General at the University of the Free State. Additionally, they obtained several certifications in areas such as Ethical Hacking, Kali Linux, Creativity at Work, and SAFe® 4 Certified Agilist.
