Gonzalo Azqueta

Gonzalo Azqueta has extensive work experience in the fields of naval architecture and research engineering. Gonzalo currently works at Dimeq as a Naval Architecture Manager, where they manage various naval architecture projects, including 3D computer modeling and system analysis. Prior to this, they were the HSE Manager at Dimeq, where they managed HSE technical valuations and conducted value proposition and return on investment calculations.

Before joining Dimeq, Gonzalo worked at Brookes Bell as a Naval Architect, providing consultancy services for expert witness litigation and forensic investigations. Gonzalo also worked as a Research Engineer, participating in European projects and developing mathematical models for ship's power plant components.

Gonzalo started their career as a Researcher at the University of Strathclyde, where they were involved in the Low Carbon Shipping project and studied fuel cell technology for carbon emissions reduction in marine auxiliary power generation.

Gonzalo Azqueta obtained a Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Before that, they attended the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, although specific details regarding degree and field of study are unavailable.
