Adrian Swartz

Adrian Swartz, PhD, is the Director of Decision Science at Discovery Education, having joined the company in October 2020 after its acquisition of Mystery.org, where Adrian served as a Senior Data Scientist. With expertise in data science techniques such as predictive analytics and machine learning, Adrian has established an experimentation program focused on enhancing educational products. Prior experience includes foundational roles in data science at Mystery.org and serving as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science. Adrian's academic background features a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of California, Riverside, and a B.S. in Physics from the University of California, Davis, coupled with postdoctoral research at Stanford University.
