National Sales Manager – Wilmington, NC

DISHER is currently partnering with an innovative manufacturer of fluid conveyance systems in search of a National Sales Manager. This pivotal role will concentrate on developing comprehensive programs and leading a sales team and their efforts on the ground as they expand their team to meet growth targets. The National Sales Manager will collaborate internally to formulate go-to-market strategies, design training initiatives, liaise with leadership, and take full ownership of the sales process. Additionally, they will serve as the primary point of contact for both existing and prospective clients, fostering relationships and driving business growth.

What you will get to do:

  • Developing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals and sales forecasting.
  • Recruiting and hiring sales staff and developing training programs.
  • Coordinating and optimizing regional sales strategies.
  • Working with marketing to design promotional materials for the company's products.
  • Setting quarterly and annual sales goals and motivating the sales teams to achieve their goals.
  • Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.
  • Reviewing customer activity, anticipating consumer needs, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Creating sales reports and providing feedback to the leadership.
  • Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities.
  • Outlining and managing sales budgets.

What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a sales leadership position.
  • 5 years experience working in a selling role with proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies, methods, and employee motivation techniques.
  • Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Experience working in with sales technology and CRM software like Salesforce and Hubspot.
  • FT in-person located in Wilmington, NC, with the ability to travel up to 40% - 60% of the time.
