Jessica Heiges

Jessica Heiges, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jessica is currently working as a Senior Sustainability Consultant at Quantis, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they were a PhD Candidate at UC Berkeley's Rausser College of Natural Resources from 2019 onwards. In 2019, they co-founded Dispatch Goods and is now serving as a Sustainability Advisor. Jessica also worked as a California Scrap Plastic Exports - Policy Intern at The Nature Conservancy from January 2021 to June 2021. In 2019, Jessica was a Single-Use Disposable Foodware Pilot Intern at the Ecology Center, Berkeley where they successfully implemented a reusable cup pilot program. Before pursuing their PhD, they were a TRUE Zero Waste Advisor for the Chou Hall Zero Waste Initiative at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2017 to 2019. Jessica Heiges, PhD, has a strong educational background in waste management and sustainable practices. Jessica obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Waste Management from UC Berkeley's Rausser College of Natural Resources in 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Development Practice degree with a focus on Supply Chain Management and Municipal Waste Management at the same institution from 2017 to 2019.
