Mark Locascio

Mark joined DMC after completing degrees at Harvey Mudd College and Northwestern University. He studied VLSI circuit design at HMC, then conducted nanomechanics research with Northwestern University and Argonne National Lab to earn an MS in Mechanical Engineering. He continued with research on machine learning, and after collaborating with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, completed a PhD in August 2012. His research involved neural network controllers for robots, which sounds exactly like the Terminator movies, but he would like to assure you that he will probably be fine. Mark is a Certified LabVIEW Architect and one of the last remaining people who still likes Fortran.
