Ashley Hobb

VP, Operations at DNAstack

Ashley Hobb is the Vice President of Operations at DNAstack. Prior to joining DNAstack, Ashley spent four years as the Operations Lead at the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH). In this role, Ashley was responsible for overseeing operations and culture for GA4GH's cross-functional and remote team. Ashley also managed grant applications and budget distribution across five institutions in three countries, organized 450+ person conferences, and oversaw the funding and budget for central operations.

Before joining GA4GH, Ashley spent two years as the Corporate Relations and Development Manager at Startup Canada. In this role, Ashley was responsible for developing and delivering Startup Canada's strategic plan, maintaining strong relationships with international partners and collaborators, and managing the funding and budget for central operations.

Ashley has also spent time as a marketing consultant, where they were responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans for their clients. Ashley has a passion for helping organizations grow and scale their operations.

Ashley Hobb has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IE Business School, a Data Analytics certification from BrainStation, and a BAH in Film and Media Studies and Psychology from Queen's University. Ashley is currently pursuing a Film and Psychology degree at the University of Glasgow.

Their manager is Marc Fiume, Co-Founder & CEO. Ashley Hobb works with Christine Beyaert - VP, Partnerships, Miro Cupak - Co-Founder & CTO, and Jim Vlasblom - Co-Founder, CIO & CPSO.
