Martin Bogomolni

Director of Operations and Cybersecurity at Dokkio

Martin Bogomolni has a long and varied work experience. Martin began their career in 2003 as the Founder of Linux Test Labs, providing outside design consultation services for embedded linux designs. In 2006, they became a Ranger at Burning Man, helping to resolve disputes within the community and bridge the gap between the ethos and the culture of the citizens and the needs and responsibilities of law enforcement. In 2008, they took a short-term contract as a Senior Engineer at Loopt, responsible for bridging the gap between Development and Operations. In 2009, they became the third employee at Calxeda, Inc., porting Linux to a server-on-a-chip SoC. That same year, they also founded ATX Hackerspace, along with Matt McCabe, Mike Rich, and Ratha Grimes, and continued their association with the organization as the Director of IT. In 2011, they became the Director of Operations and Cybersecurity at PB Works. In 2014, they joined Dokkio as the Director of Operations and Cybersecurity, and also became an Advisory Board Member at SxSW, responsible for making connections with interesting Maker-related businesses, co-ordinating speakers, and assisting with on-site coordination and organization of the event. In 2015, they founded Tinker & Twist, LLC. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Leviathan Security Group as a Senior Security Consultant.

Martin Bogomolni attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2002 to 2003, studying Computer and Information Sciences, General. Martin then attended the same university from 1990 to 1994, studying Computer Science. Prior to that, Martin attended Mills High School from 1986 to 1990.
