Omotayo Balogun Mph

Omotayo Balogun, MPH has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. They are currently working as a Medical Writer at Doximity. Prior to this, they worked at Ryan Health in various roles. They started as an HIV Community Outreach and Engagement Specialist (Americorps Member) in September 2015 and transitioned to becoming a PrEP Navigator (HIV Prevention Specialist) in April 2017. From June 2019 to October 2021, Omotayo served as a Planning Associate, contributing to strategic planning efforts. They then took on the role of Strategic Planning Coordinator from October 2021 to July 2022. Throughout their career, Omotayo has displayed a commitment to public health and preventive services.

Omotayo Balogun, MPH pursued a higher education starting in 2008 at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, where they completed their pre-college education. From 2011 to 2015, Omotayo attended the University of Pittsburgh and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology, General.

Seeking further knowledge in public health, Omotayo enrolled at The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health from 2016 to 2018. During this period, they obtained the degree of Master of Public Health (MPH) with a specialization in Public Health (Health Policy & Global Health).

Continuing their academic journey, Omotayo is currently attending the University of California, Irvine - College of Medicine. They are expected to graduate in 2026 with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, focusing on the medical field. Additionally, in August 2022, Omotayo obtained certification in Biomedical Investigators from the CITI Program.
