Isaac Slavitt

Isaac Slavitt has extensive work experience in various fields. Isaac co-founded DrivenData in 2014, where they also served as the Principal Data Scientist. Isaac was a Fellow at Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences from 2017 to 2023. Prior to that, Isaac worked as an Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard from 2008 to 2015. Isaac also gained experience as a Legislative Intern for the Committee on Homeland Security in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2007.

Isaac Slavitt began their education journey by attending the US Coast Guard Academy from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research with a focus on Mathematics and Science. Afterward, in 2010, they obtained a Master Mariner's License from the U.S. Coast Guard. Continuing their education, Isaac pursued a Master of Science degree in Computational Science and Engineering from Harvard University, which they completed from 2013 to 2014. In addition to their academic achievements, Isaac has also acquired certifications, including a Disaster Response Liaison Officer (LNO), Type III from FEMA.
