Donald D. Carpenter

Donald D. Carpenter, Ph.D, P.E., LEED AP is currently serving as the Principal of Drummond Carpenter, PLLC (SDVOSB), a position they have held since February 2016. Prior to this role, they worked as a Professor of Practice & Director at the Great Lakes Stormwater Management Institute at Lawrence Technological University from May 2017 to the present. Donald D. was also a Professor at Lawrence Technological University from September 2000 to May 2017. From January 2005 to February 2016, Carpenter worked as a Senior Technical Consultant at HSW Engineering, Inc. Donald D. started their career in 1996 as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Michigan, a position they held until May 2001.

Donald D. Carpenter, Ph.D, P.E., LEED AP completed their education in civil engineering. Donald D. earned their Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 2001, their MS from Oregon State University in 1996, and their BS from Purdue University in 1993. In addition, they obtained a certification as an NCI Charrette System Facilitator from the National Charrette Institute in 2015.
