Hugh Welsh

Hugh Welsh has extensive work experience in the legal field. Hugh started their career at McCarter & English, LLP as a Senior Associate from September 1997 to April 2001. Hugh later worked at American Standard Companies as an Associate General Counsel from April 2001 to November 2003. In 2004, they joined DSM North America, where they held various roles, including General Counsel & President and General Counsel, Secretary & President. Hugh has been with DSM North America for almost 20 years and has played a significant role in the company's success. In 2023, Hugh Welsh will assume the position of President at DSM-Firmenich in North America, as well as General Counsel for DSM-Firmenich Americas.

Hugh Welsh attended UMass Boston from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Hugh then went on to study at Seton Hall University School of Law from 1990 to 1993, earning a Juris Doctorate degree in Law.
