Samir Sanghavi

Samir Sanghavi has a diverse work background in various finance roles. Samir is currently a Senior Finance Director at DSM-Firmenich, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Firmenich as a Senior Regional Finance Director from 2012 onwards. In this role, they were responsible for financial reporting, analysis, due diligences, supply chain controlling, and compliances in the India, Middle East, Africa, and SEA regions. Samir also managed several key projects, including acquisitions and mergers, as well as defending transfer pricing and enforcement cases. Before Firmenich, Samir worked as a Finance Controller at Saint Gobain, where they also supervised supply chain and inventory management, managed administration, HR, and IT functions, and implemented SAP R/3 Version 7. Samir began their career as an Assistant Manager at Hinduja TMT Ltd. From 2004 to 2010, they served as the Corporate Finance Manager at Arab Media Group, where they monitored investments and advised management on new investment opportunities.

Samir Sanghavi completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree at Hinduja College in an unspecified year. Samir then pursued their Chartered Accountant degree at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1998 to 2002, specializing in Accounting and Finance.
