Steven Willson

Steven Willson is the current Chief Technology Officer at Dubber, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to their current role, Steven held various positions at companies such as Mutual Marketplace Pty Ltd, Great Southern Bank, Wolters Kluwer Australia, and Suncorp Group.

Steven's career in technology began at Lifetime Online Solutions where they were Head of System Architecture & Design. During their time at Lifetime Online Solutions, Steven was responsible for the IT architecture of the Wrap Platform and managed a team of architects and designers. Steven also established strong relationships with key business stakeholders to understand their needs and implement solutions that met their requirements.

In 2007, Steven joined AMP as Director of Technology. During their time at AMP, Steven was responsible for IT development practices, methodology, and standards. Steven also oversaw the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and managed relationships with technology vendors and service providers. Some of their notable achievements during their time at AMP include the implementation of a workflow solution for new business and account servicing, a business rule engine-based application for automated fee management and commission distribution, and the implementation of a Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) in response to new regulations in the UK.

In 2017, Steven left AMP to join Wolters Kluwer Australia as Chief Technology Officer - Asia Pacific. In this role, Steven was responsible for providing input to Aviva's enterprise architecture and overseeing the IT operations for Wolters Kluwer's businesses in Asia Pacific.

In 2018, Steven left Wolters Kluwer Australia to join Great Southern Bank as their Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Steven is responsible for leading the bank's technology strategy and initiatives while also overseeing the bank's IT operations.

Most recently, in 2019, Steven joined Mutual Marketplace Pty Ltd as a Non-Exec Director. In this role, Steven provides guidance and oversight to the company's board of directors on matters related to technology and innovation.

Steven Willson's educational career includes a BSc in Computer Science from De Montfort University. Steven's field of study is computing science, and they have focused their academic career on this area of interest.
