Nishant Shukla

Nishant Shukla is currently the VP of Engineering at Duffl. Prior to this, they were the VP of Engineering at Wellth from July 2020 to January 2022. At Wellth, Nishant led the engineering team to meet HIPAA compliant product requirements and established quality standards. Nishant also oversaw product architecture and orchestrated design discussions.

Before their time at Wellth, Nishant was the VP of Engineering at DMAI from August 2017 to July 2020. During their time there, they nurtured the engineering teams as the company grew from 2 to over 50 employees. Nishant also managed the Platform team's budget, established strong development processes, and cultivated a powerful team.

Nishant's experience extends beyond vice president positions. In May 2016, they interned at SpaceX as a Machine Learning Intern where they implemented predictive models and designed data analysis tools used by mission control. Nishant was also a Software Engineer Intern at Foursquare from May 2014 to August 2014 and Facebook from May 2013 to August 2013.

Nishant's experience and success in various engineering positions have made him an invaluable asset to Duffl. Their skills in leading and scaling teams as well as their experience with product architecture and design make him uniquely qualified for the VP of Engineering position.

Nishant Shukla earned a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Virginia. Nishant then attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science.
