Aditi Jain

Aditi Jain started their work experience in 2013 as a Controls Software Sub-team Member for the Cornell Mars Rover Engineering Project Team. Aditi developed software in C++ to communicate with the rover's hardware and assist with GPS/communications components.

In 2014, Aditi joined Microsoft as a Software Engineering Intern in the Cloud & Enterprise Division. Aditi built a tool to troubleshoot live site incidents in real-time and created visualizations to pinpoint hotspots and errors in the service fabric, reducing the time to detect and mitigate issues.

Aditi continued their work at Microsoft as a Software Engineer from 2017 to 2020. Aditi worked on client-server components and helped design a microservice using Azure service fabric. Aditi implemented middle tier service/business logic to interact with CosmosDB and Azure web portal.

Before joining Microsoft, Aditi also had various roles at Cornell University. Aditi was a CS 4820 TA, CS 3410 TA, Engineering Peer Advisor, and a CS 2110 Consultant. In these roles, they assisted students with course material, graded assignments, and exams.

In 2015, Aditi had an internship with GE as part of their Information Technology Leadership Program.

Most recently, in 2020, Aditi joined Duolingo as a Software Engineer.

Aditi Jain completed their high school education at Sycamore High School from 2009 to 2013, where they received a general High School degree. Following this, they attended Cornell University from 2013 to 2017 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with Magna Cum Laude honors.
