Head Of Manufacturing Technology at E-Space

Sean Rivkin has a diverse background in manufacturing technology, program management, and composite materials engineering. Sean has held various roles throughout their career, starting as an Engineering Draftsman at Goetz Custom Boats in 2007. Sean then worked as a Design Engineer at Premier Composite Technologies, Dubai, where they managed yacht projects and improved cross-departmental communications. Following that, they served as a Design Consultant & Technical Project Manager for an eco-retreat business, focusing on modular construction and bamboo-composite reinforcement. Sean then joined Blade Dynamics (UK), where they worked as a Senior Engineer, developing wind turbine blades and managing manufacturing engineering for a new factory. Sean also played a key role in designing factories and leading a proprietary joining technology initiative. At SpinLaunch, Sean served as a Strategic Advisor and later became the Director of Composite Manufacturing, overseeing critical projects and developing a production strategy for hypersonic space launch vehicles. Sean then moved on to Maxar Technologies, where they served as the Composites Manufacturing Engineering Manager, responsible for managing the advanced composite manufacturing engineering team and overseeing continuous improvement and R&D projects. Most recently, Sean worked at Gantri as the Director Of Manufacturing Operations, where they were responsible for the entire supply chain, facilities, quality, and production operations of the world's largest 3D printing facility. During their tenure, they increased production yield by more than 30%. Currently, Sean is the Head of Manufacturing Technology at E-Space, taking on a leadership role in the company's manufacturing operations.

Sean Rivkin attended the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2003 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Industrial Design. Prior to that, they studied Architecture at the University of Minnesota in 2002 and 2003. In addition to their formal education, Sean has obtained several certifications, including a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2020, an Aerial work platform operator certification from A-1 Forklift in 2019, a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certification from Technische Universität München in 2018, a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from OXFORD SEMINARS INTERNATIONAL LTD., INC. in 2010, and an Advanced Robot Programming certification from KUKA North America in 2008.
