Clarence Thompkins, ABD, PHR has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Clarence began their career as an Intern Human Resource Specialist at Indiana University Kokomo in 2015 and continued in this role until 2016. Following this, Clarence worked as a Human Resource Generalist at One Logistics Solution from 2016 to 2018. Clarence then joined Professional Management Enterprises (PME) as a Corporate Human Resource Director from 2018 to 2023. Currently, Clarence serves as a Human Resource Director at the Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County, starting in 2023.

Clarence Thompkins, ABD, PHR has a comprehensive education history that spans both undergraduate and graduate studies. In 2010, they completed their Core 40 Honors program at Lawrence Central High School. Continuing their educational journey, Clarence pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Health Science from Indiana University Bloomington, which they successfully completed in 2016.

In the same year, Clarence also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Michigan State University. To further enhance their professional qualifications, they pursued a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, completing it in 2018.

Clarence is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree at Franklin University, a milestone that they are projected to achieve by 2023. Alongside their studies, Clarence has obtained various additional certifications to broaden their HR knowledge and skills. In 2016, they obtained a certification in Human Resource Management from Michigan State University. In 2018, Clarence achieved the Project Management Essentials Certified designation from the Management and Strategy Institute.

Building on their commitment to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace, Clarence obtained a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2021. Notably, they have attained the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI in 2022, showcasing their expertise in HR practices.

As of December 2020, Clarence holds the status of Doctoral Candidate at Franklin University, actively working towards completing their Doctor of Business Administration degree.
