Miron Costant

Miron Costant has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Miron is currently working at Earthly Technologies as the Lead UX Designer and Lead UI Engineer. Prior to this, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Nvstr.

Miron Costant also worked at ShiftLeft, Inc. where they held multiple roles. As the Senior UI Engineer and Design Lead, they led the design and implementation of a complete User Interface redesign that received positive feedback. Miron also created a new architecture using React, Redux, Reselect, Immer, and Styled Components, resulting in a stable product with fewer bugs.

Before ShiftLeft, Inc., Miron Costant served as the Lead Frontend Engineer and Design Lead at Litbit. Miron was responsible for designing and building the frontend of an IOT platform called RhythmOS. Miron worked closely with key stakeholders to understand design objectives and prioritize tasks.

Miron Costant took a one-year sabbatical in 2014, during which they did not hold any formal role. Prior to their sabbatical, they worked at Sony as a Senior Software Engineer. Miron contributed to the development of the Video Unlimited movie store app for TVs and other devices, as well as the PlayStation Now app for TVs.

Earlier in their career, Miron Costant worked at MarketTools as the Lead UI Engineer. Miron worked on building a major new product each year and gained valuable experience from their manager, the director of User Experience.

Before joining MarketTools, Miron Costant worked as a self-employed Web Developer. Miron won a bidding process to redesign the Houston Public Library website and led requirements gathering meetings, conducted user needs analysis, and created visual design prototypes based on user feedback.

Miron Costant began their career as a Web Developer at Quantum Weather. Miron collaborated closely with a meteorologist and a backend engineer to design and build a weather model analysis web application, fostering a strong teamwork dynamic.

Miron Costant pursued their education with great dedication, starting with their Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina Asheville. Miron pursued a double major in Computer Science and History from 1996 to 2001. Demonstrating their ambition and thirst for knowledge, Miron then went on to obtain a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Western Carolina University between 2002 and 2003. Through this education journey, they honed their skills in computer science, history, and business administration.
