Gregory Simpson has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current position as a Senior Software Engineer at EarthOptics since 2022. Also in 2015, Mr. Simpson worked as a Software Developer at Designsensory, where they developed server-side and back-end code for web applications and native mobile applications. Finally, from 2014 to 2015, they were a Software Developer at Right Click Design, LLC, where they established a local software start-up and developed a cross-platform strategy game for an outside client.

Gregory Simpson began their education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology in 2007. Gregory continued their studies at the same institution, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science in 2015, followed by a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science in 2016.
