Dion Smith

Dion Smith is the manager of programs and compliance for the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). Dion worked at Easterseals Chicagoland and Greater Rockford from 2009 to 2012 as a program coordinator. He joined the Easterseals National SCSEP team in November 2012. Dion’s hobbies are travel, movies, sports, and studying politics, which are passions that fully developed while at Northern Illinois University. He is an active member of the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP). Dion is responsible for the day-to-day compliance of the SCSEP program(s) within his territory, partnering with subgrantees and providing training and technical assistance.
