Christoph Fretter

Christoph Fretter has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Christoph started their career as a Student Assistant at Fraunhofer IGD in 2007. Christoph then went on to become a Wiss. Mitarbeiter at Martin Luther Universität Halle-Wittenberg from 2007 to 2011. In 2008, Christoph co-founded Toca and served as a Co-Founder until 2010.

From 2011 to 2013, Christoph worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Jacobs University Bremen. Christoph then moved to Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf and continued their role as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from 2013 to 2014. Christoph returned to Jacobs University Bremen as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, Christoph joined Elliptic as a Data Scientist and worked until 2016. Later in 2016, they joined Parkling as the Head of Data Science and worked until 2019. During their time at PARK NOW Group from 2019 to 2021, Christoph held the position of CTO and Chief Data Scientist (Parkling). Currently, they continue this role at EasyPark Group from 2021.

Christoph Fretter received their education in the field of physics. From 2002 to 2007, they attended Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they obtained a Diplom degree in physics. Following this, Christoph pursued further education in the field of computer science. Christoph enrolled in Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg from 2007 to 2011, specializing in informatics, and completed their studies with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
