David Hunter, PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP, Prosci, M.A Econ has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. David is currently working as the Fortune 100 Global IS/IT Portfolio & PMO Manager at Amaris Consulting, responsible for managing the portfolio and PMO of a premium retail boutique and e-commerce espresso coffee business unit. Prior to this, David worked as a Course Author for Enterprise and IoT Blockchain at EC-Council.

David also has extensive experience with the Project Management Institute (PMI), where they served as a Global Subject Matter Expert. David'skey accomplishments at PMI include being a part of two Steering Committees exploring the future of PMI certifications and being a current member of the Global HQ NextGen Insights. David has also contributed as a Subject Matter Expert and content creator for PMI's Standards+ and Thought Leadership divisions.

In addition to their roles in consulting and project management, David has held positions in the finance and technology sectors. David served as the Head of Information Technology at Quintessence Wealth, where they led the firm's transition to a FinTech focus and successfully onboarded key partners. David also worked as a Project and Program Management Consultant at Bruce Power and a Financial Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Product Management Consultant at ETF Capital Management.

Earlier in their career, David gained teaching and research experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at York University and a Junior Research Fellow at the NATO Association of Canada. David also served as a Technical Lead at The United Church of Canada.

David Hunter is currently enrolled in the Professional Education Program at CPA Ontario, pursuing a degree in Accounting. David has also obtained a Diploma in Accounting from McMaster University Continuing Education. In terms of their higher education, David holds a Master's Degree in Economics from York University, where they also earned a Bachelor's Degree with Specialized Honours in Economics. Additionally, David has acquired several certifications, including Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci and various certifications in organizational transformation and project management from the Project Management Institute (PMI). These PMI certifications include PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP), and Project Management Professional (PMP). Furthermore, David has completed courses in Digital Behavior Change Psychology and Emotional Design Psychology at the Behavioral Design Academy of AlterSpark.
