Celia Zeilberger

Celia Zeilberger has a diverse background in communications and management. Celia has held various roles at different organizations. From 2017 to the present, they have served as the Director of Communications and Learning at ECODIT, where they oversee both internal and external communications and implements the company's communications strategy. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2021, they worked as the Communications Manager at ECODIT, providing leadership in communications for project implementation and business development. Before joining ECODIT, Celia Zeilberger worked at USAID from 2015 to 2017 as the Senior Development Outreach and Communications Specialist. In this role, they led the communications team for USAID/Ghana's portfolio and provided guidance and training to communications staff. From 2011 to 2015, they served as the Editor in Chief of USAID Global Waters Magazine and Communications Specialist at ME&A, Inc., where they contributed their expertise in communication and knowledge management to the USAID Water Office. Additionally, Celia Zeilberger has experience as managing editor at Yemen Today Magazine from 2010 to 2011.

Celia Zeilberger has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Columbia University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005. In 2002, they also earned a Certificate in French Studies from Université Paris-Sorbonne. Later, from 2007 to 2009, Celia pursued and completed their Master's degree in Middle Eastern History at Tel Aviv University. Finally, in 2009-2010, they obtained a Certificate in Arabic Language and Literature from Alexandria University.
