Carol Langlois Ed.D

Dr. Carol Langlois has a extensive work experience in the education industry, specializing in strategic education solutions for universities and edTech start-ups. Dr. Carol has served as a Senior Consultant & Advisor at Dr. Carol Langlois since 2018, where they navigate the higher education landscape, supporting the edTech ecosystem and ensuring successful partnerships.

Prior to that, Dr. Langlois was the Vice President for Student Success and Retention as well as the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing at Hackbright Academy from 2015 to 2017. In these roles, they played a critical role in providing guidance and structure to the start-up during its growth and acquisition phase, leading and managing admissions and marketing teams.

From 2012 to 2013, Dr. Langlois worked at the University of San Francisco School of Management as a Strategy and Enrollment Consultant, successfully revamping and redesigning an Executive MBA program, optimizing its market appeal and operational efficiency, and contributing to the restructuring and recruitment of a new program director.

From 2007 to 2011, Dr. Langlois worked at Mills College, first as an Associate Provost and Dean, Graduate Division, where they achieved a remarkable increase in the graduate community and led a comprehensive reorganization, and later as the Dean of Graduate Recruitment and Enrollment Management, where they developed and implemented strategic initiatives to enhance the division's presence and exceeded the strategic goal for graduate enrollment ahead of schedule.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Langlois worked at the University of San Francisco School of Management from 1998 to 2007, holding various roles such as Executive MBA Program Director, Assoc. Director of MBA Programs, and Assistant Director of MBA Programs. Dr. Carol was responsible for admissions, marketing, recruitment, and student services and successfully balanced the male/female ratio in the EMBA program.

Dr. Langlois also has experience working as an admissions counselor and success coach at Fairfield University and Salem State University.
