Jonathan Smith

Jonathan Smith has a diverse work experience. Jonathan started their career in 2007 as a Walmart Photo Technician, where they were responsible for troubleshooting photo equipment and maintaining supplies. In 2013, they worked as an O&M Technician at Vertical Limit Construction, climbing and servicing telecommunication systems for major cellular partners. In 2014, they joined Tallgrass Industries LLC as a Quality Technician and Tower Tech. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Vestas as a Service Technician I and II, performing maintenance and diagnosing electrical and hydraulic systems for wind turbines. Currently, they are working at EDF Renewables North America as a Lead Technician Slate Creek and an Area Technical Specialist, providing troubleshooting and maintenance support for wind turbine platforms.

Jonathan Smith attended Pinnacle Career Institute from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained an Associates of Science degree in Wind Energy with a focus on the Wind Turbine Industry/Maintenance. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2013, they also attended Pinnacle Career Institute and received a Wind Turbine Technician Certification. Jonathan'shigh school education was completed at Brookfield R-III High School from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a High School Diploma. Additionally, they have certifications in various areas, including 783 Hours of Agricultural Education from Brookfield Area Career Center and certifications in Climb Test, ENSA, First Aid CPR, High Torque, NFPA 70E, OSHA 10, and Shaft Hog.
