Shelly Gensmer-Cleek

Shelly Gensmer-Cleek's work experience includes holding the position of Member of the Board of Directors at Alabama Coastal Foundation since December 2022. Shelly is currently the Chief Compliance Officer at Edfinancial Services, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ERC (Enhanced Resource Centers) from August 2016 to May 2022, where they held various roles, including Senior Vice President of Legal and Compliance, Vice President of Legal and Compliance, and Senior Director of Legal. From 2011 to September 2015, Shelly was an Assistant Vice President of Regulatory Services at U.S. Bank. Before that, they served as the Litigation and Compliance Manager at BCR from 2006 to May 2011.

Shelly Gensmer-Cleek completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal at Purdue University in 2007. Shelly then pursued further education at Purdue Global, where they are currently working towards a Doctorate of Law - Executive Juris Doctor, specializing in the field of Law. Additionally, Shelly holds a Master's degree in Legal Studies, General also from Purdue University. Shelly has obtained several additional certifications, including a General Law Micro-credential and a Health Law Micro-credential from Purdue University Global. Shelly was recognized for their academic achievements and was listed on the Dean's List at Concord Law, a division of Purdue University Global.
