Neil Hobbs

Neil Hobbs has extensive work experience in the legal field. Neil currently serves as the General Counsel at Edify since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the same position at Eponine Labs, LLC starting in October 2019. Before transitioning to in-house counsel roles, Neil worked at BT for over ten years. Neil started as a Senior Commercial Lawyer in August 2005 and eventually became the Head of Legal in June 2008, remaining in that position until October 2019. Neil began their legal career as a Paralegal at Herbert Smith Freehills in 1997 and later worked as a Paralegal at S J Berwin LLP from 1999 to 2000. Neil then joined Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP as a Senior Associate Lawyer, where they worked until August 2005. Overall, Neil Hobbs has a wealth of experience in legal roles, with a focus on general counsel and commercial law.

Neil Hobbs attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws - LLB degree in the field of Law. In 1999, they returned to Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Neil Hobbs obtained the certifications of Attorney from the State Bar of California in May 2012, Attorney from the Illinois State Bar Association in November 2009, and Solicitor from the Solicitors Regulation Authority in November 2001.
