Gonzalo E. Torres Macchiavello has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Gonzalo E. is currently the Vice President of EGXFuels, where they oversee worldwide business development activities for geothermal projects and green fuels. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2022, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of ENERGY CREATIVE SOLUTIONS, focusing on developing utility-scale solar PV power companies and green hydrogen projects using geothermal energy.

From 2015 to 2018, Gonzalo worked as the Country Head for the Energy Development Corporation, leading the development of 100 MW geothermal projects in Chile and Peru. Gonzalo E. also served as the Chairman and President of Consejo Geotérmico, representing the geothermal industry and leading the Geothermal Roundtable organized by Chile's Ministry of Energy.

Furthermore, Gonzalo was a Board Member of the Chilean Association for Renewable Energies, ACERA AG, from 2016 to 2018. Gonzalo E. also founded and served as the Vice Chairman of the Asociación Peruana de Energías Renovables in 2017, involved in negotiating NCRE PPA Auctions and introducing sustainable regulations.

Earlier in their career, they were the Chief Executive Officer of International Play Securities, focused on PV solar projects, and the Senior Executive Vice President of Clean Global Energy PTY, responsible for business development and operations in North America. Gonzalo E. was also the President and CEO of WHE Corp, an oil and gas company, and the Chief Commercial Officer and VP Business Development of Sardegna Energy, a power generation company.

Throughout their career, Gonzalo has demonstrated expertise in renewable energy, geothermal projects, solar PV power, synthetic fuels, and oil and gas.

Gonzalo E. Torres Macchiavello has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Gonzalo E. also holds Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Public Administration from Universidade de Brasília. Gonzalo attended Colegio Inmaculada (Jesuit) for their elementary, middle, and high school education.
