Jen Wood

Jen Wood has extensive work experience in the education field. Jen started their career as an elementary teacher, teaching grades K-2nd at Hanson Elementary and Crofton Ebert Elementary. Jen then worked as an elementary teacher, teaching grades 3rd-4th at Rocky Mountain School of Expeditionary Learning. Jen later became a school designer at Expeditionary Learning and a staff developer at PEBC- Public Education & Business Coalition. Jen also served as a literacy coach at The Odyssey School and as a co-director of the RMSEL Teacher Preparation Program at Rocky Mountain School of Expeditionary Learning. Jen then transitioned to an instructional coach role, working at Rocky Mountain School of Expeditionary Learning and The Odyssey School. Jen later became a regional director and director of strategic projects at EL Education before taking on their current role as senior director of the Impact Team.

Jen Wood holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Whole Learning from Regis University, which they completed in 1996. Prior to that, they obtained an Elementary Teacher Certification from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 1986. Jen also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Development and Family Studies, General, which they earned from Colorado State University in 1986.
