👨💻 Benjamin Howe

Benjamin Howe is a software engineer with a diverse range of experience in various companies. 👨‍💻 Benjamin is currently working at Elder as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at American Express as a Senior Software Engineer (Developer Enablement), where they developed a repositories scanning tool and contributed to documentation. Before their role in Developer Enablement, they worked with the Business Travel Account team as a Software Engineer (Backend), where they built a tool to enrich travel-related transactions and up-skilled colleagues in modern technologies. Benjamin also worked at the University of Reading as a Laboratory Demonstrator, assisting students with programming labs. Additionally, they were a Software Developer at Krystal Hosting, where they provided customer support and developed tools for email configuration. Benjamin gained technology expertise as the Head of Technology at Junction11 Radio, where they re-engineered the technology stack and enabled IPv6 deployment. 👨‍💻 Benjamin also had internships at Goldman Sachs and American Express, where they worked on projects and gained experience in analysis and design. Benjamin Howe holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Reading. In addition, they have obtained several certifications. In February 2019, they became a Professional Member (MBCS) of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. In November 2014, they obtained an IPv6 Certification - Sage from Hurricane Electric. More recently, in July 2021, they acquired a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA. Finally, in November 2018, they obtained a First Aid certification from the British Red Cross.
