Manufacturing Engineer II at Electric Power Systems

Michael Gailey has diverse work experience in multiple industries. In 2014, they worked as a Sales Associate at Sports Authority for a brief period. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Lexus Destination Assist Associate at The Results Companies. In 2017, they joined Home Depot Tool Rental as a Small Engine Mechanic, where they improved efficiency by implementing new procedures.

In 2019, Michael worked as a 3D Modeler/Industrial Designer at Galactic Trading Post, where they collaborated with other designers to ensure compliance with Disney license requirements.

From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at PCC AEROSTRUCTURES, where they oversaw continuous improvement pipelines and implemented lean principles. Michael also introduced additive manufacturing to eliminate masking time waste.

In 2021, Michael worked as a Student Engineer at US Synthetic until 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Manufacturing Engineer at Electric Power Systems, Inc.

Michael Gailey attended Brigham Young University from 2016 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering. In addition to their degree, they obtained the certification of Certified Manufacturing Technologist (CMfgT) from SME in April 2021.
